TOO MANY LIVES*

I have lived many lives in many places in my nearly 3/4 of a century on this sacred earth. Maybe too many since I sometimes surprise myself with my own history. I donʻt spend a lot of time looking backward. Having lost records repeatedly since my house fire of 2010, I pretty much gave up on ever attempting any kind of documenting of this life of mine. I tend very much to live in the present anyway and I always did.

Because I want to start this podcast The Other Side of Paradise: Hawaii I joined Spotify for Podcasters, which took over Anchor FM as a free podcast launchpad. As a result I joined Spotify (a requirement). I just logged in for the first time since setting that up and up pops my playlists. Iʻm like: “I have playlists?” Then I look at them and go: “Yeah, that definitely looks like music I would have chosen.” So in 2012 I did that. Even I forgot. The internet did not. And now you know.

Check out my 21 playlists on Spotify. They are pretty cool. Looks like Iʻve got some room to add on to some of my audacious themes….

I do surprise myself. I hope you do, too.

*Some of you, seeing the title to this post, may have thought I was going to write about the tragic losses of life that are happening everywhere now and splashed in front of our view on all media without any sense being injected into our 21st century reality. If you want to know more about my opinions on that you can follow me on "X" which is still (barely) Twitter for me.
